April 6: Goals
Where are you in your life? Check in with your emotions, your physical being, your mental being. Take time each day to do this.
What do you want? You might want to start a journal, or write a note to yourself each day about where you are and what you want in your life. Put it where you can see it often.
"If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things." -- Albert Einstein
"If you're bored with life -- you don't get up every morning with a burning desire to do things -- you don't have enough goals." -- -Lou Holtz
"The victory of success is half won when one gains the habit of setting goals and achieving them. Even the most tedious chore will become endurable as you parade through each day convinced that every task, no matter how menial or boring, brings you closer to fulfilling your dreams. " -- -Og Mandino
How do I change?
If I feel depressed I will sing.
If I feel sad I will laugh.
If I feel ill I will double my labour.
If I feel fear I will plunge ahead.
If I feel inferior I will wear new garments.
If I feel uncertain I will raise my voice.
If I feel poverty I will think of wealth to come.
If I feel incompetent I will think of past success.
If I feel insignificant I will remember my goals.
Today I will be the master of my emotions.
